This is the Rotary Guide for Rotarians to follow in all the things they think, say, and do. Avenues of ServiceThis refers to the Four Avenues of Service that form the elements of Rotary. Club ServiceInvolves all the activities necessary for Rotarians to perform to make their club function. Community ServiceThis pertains to the activities, which Rotarians undertake to improve the quality of life in their community. It involves assistance to youth, the aged, handicapped and other less fortunate peoples. Vocational ServiceIs a description of the opportunity each Rotarian has to represent the dignity and utility on ones vocation to the other members of the club. This service includes Vocation leadership programs (Ryla and Rypen ), as well as vocational awareness programs for youth. International ServiceDescribes the many programs and activities, which Rotarians undertake to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace. International Service projects are designed to meet humanitarian needs of people in many lands. Projects include work in Guatemala, Sierra Leone and Arusha East Africa. |
