Rotary Club of Canmore Fundraising
To support the wide range of vocational, community and international service activites the Rotary Club of Canmore is very active in fundraising. Below, are some of the ongoing projects we currently work on. All monies raised from these events are distributed through the budgets of our Avenues of Service. Rotary Club of Canmore Golf TournamentHosted in June of each year at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. This event sells out each year and is the main fundraiser of the club. Progressive DinnerThis fundraiser gives people in the community a chance to win an evening out with 4 of your best friends. In cooperation with restaurants and transportation we put together a wonderful evening out. Rotarians sell tickets and a draw is made for the winner. Rotary Canada Day Community BreakfastRotarians serve coffee to the community (approx. 1500 people) prior to the Canada Day Parade. Donations are received and passed on to the Canada Day Committee. Following the parade, the Club provides Bratwurst and a Pop for families and visitors who stream to Centennial Park for an afternoon of entertainment.
